Kiss Nail Dress: A review

So I won a pair of Kiss Nail Dress from Quiana over at Harlem Love Birds. I had been waiting to try them out because I knew I would have to cut my nails soon. They grow naturally pretty long and I knew the time was coming where they would start to break off.wpid-IMG_20130718_161705.jpg It always happens like that so on sunday night when I broke my middle finger nail I wasn’t shocked.

On monday I cut all of my nails short to match the one that broke. I have been polishing non stop so my nails were a little discolored. It’s to be expected with contact polishing which is why I keep them polished most of the time.wpid-IMG_20130723_185003.jpg

On tuesday I pulled out the kiss nails and decided to give them a try. They are easy enough to apply. I used the Sally Hansen brand a few times and I love those. . . I can’t say the same about Kiss Nail Dress.wpid-IMG_20130723_191822.jpg

These nail stickers to me were just that, stickers. They didn’t fit most of my nails very well and there is quite a bit of my actual nails showing because the stickers were too small.wpid-IMAG2049.jpg

My other issue with them is that they are very ruff on the edges when you file them. I’ve been picking at them since last night because of the ruff edges.wpid-IMAG2047.jpgwpid-IMAG2048.jpg

Overall I think the look decent if you don’t get too close to them. I wouldn’t purchase them myself to try again.

Have you ever tried Kiss Nail Dress? Did you like it? Did you have any of the same issues I had?

  1. Thanks for the review. I’ve never used the stick on product, but I’m thinking of trying them out. I’ll try the Sally brand and skip the Kiss.
